Hames Sharley is undertaking the architectural services for the new Air Traffic Control facility portion of the RAAF East Sale Redevelopment. The new facility will comprise a new Air Traffic Control Tower, ground electronic support services and Alenia Radar training classrooms. The tower cabin configuration will be unique to Defence, in that it will be double-sided to cater for a future southern runway should Project Air 5428 (Pilot Training System) should it be located in East Sale.
