Mental disorders are something that will affect most of us at some point in our lives, and Spanish-based, digital artist Federico Babina has created a new project which attempts to illustrate a number of conditions through architecture.
In the short video, entitled Archiatric, Babina poses the question; if mental illnesses and disorders were houses, what would they look like?
Babina’s use of a simple geometric, cubist approach to highlight a powerful message has created somewhat of a stir. Online reaction to the abstract designs has been overwhelming, with many sufferers of mental illness remarking upon their accuracy and resonance.
