Nine members of Hames Sharley’s Sydney office took to their bicycles in support of multiple sclerosis charities on the weekend.
The team managed to raise over $3,000 while battling strong headwinds, UV radiation and saddle sores to make the 90km odyssey down the south coast. It was perfect weather and the highlights were the descent into the national park and the route alongside the Pacific Ocean.
In the 90km ride, Mark Crabbe was the first of the Hames Sharley team to cross the finish line after battling it out with some serious lycra-wearing types for the last 20kms. In the 58km ride, Tian Sheng led the company pack the whole way, only bothering to use the brakes once, at the finish line.
