Hames Sharley is delighted to announce a new senior appointment and an Associate Directorship in the practice’s Queensland studio.

David McCarroll has joined the practice as Principal and will particularly focus on retail architecture. David arrives at Hames Sharley with over 20 years’ experience working in Australia and China across multiple sectors.

David’s key skills lie in master planning, feasibility studies, concept design and due diligence for the purchase of proposed properties. These attributes combined with a stellar reputation within the industry will see David become a key member of the Brisbane Practice and the wider national group.

Also in Queensland, Karl De Beer has been promoted to the position of Associate Director. In the years since joining the practice, Karl has excelled in a number of projects, predominantly within the Health portfolio, culminating in him playing a key role in the recent multi-award-winning University of Queensland Oral Health Centre.
