As the country readies itself for ‘the race that stops a nation’ next week, Hames Sharley is excited to reveal the concept plans for Belmont Park’s new grandstand.

The redevelopment of the existing 50-year old structure will become a showpiece to complement the Burswood sporting and entertainment precinct. The new $60 million facilities will deliver Perth’s largest rooftop function area as well as providing a contemporary race going experience for the venue’s regular patrons and members.

Designed to reflect the free-flowing movement of a gentle breeze through racing silks or a canvas marquee, the freeway side façade will announce the entry to a world-class racing venue.
