Caillin Howard has been appointed Managing Director of Hames Sharley, one of Australia’s leading multi-Disciplinary design firms. Howard will replace former Managing Director, Paul Drechsler, who after 38 years has decided to step down to be more available to the Urban Development portfolio projects undertaken by the company.
Hames Sharley Chairman, William Hames said that the appointment of Caillin Howard is an important milestone for Hames Sharley as he is a member of the new generation in the evolution of the company and will help steer Hames Sharley into a new stage of professional excellence. Howard comes with outstanding credentials as he has established himself within the company as a versatile designer and manager, with experience in a wide range of projects of varying size, complexity and focus. With a strong understanding of both planning and architectural issues and excellent design and interpersonal skills, he brings a pragmatic and innovative approach to his work and management.
Caillin has been with the firm beginning in Perth since 1999 then moved onto reinvent the Adelaide studio from which Caillin’s design and management approach was assigned to leading the national retail and town centre portfolio.
