It was a night of celebration in Adelaide on Friday evening as the city’s Convention Centre hosted the South Australian Master Builders Association Building Excellence Awards.
Hames Sharley projects Loxton Research Centre and Noarlunga Health Services Renal Dialysis Unit were among the winners with recognition for our partners Michael Kregar Building and Shape. Loxton Research Centre was recognised as Best Commercial Building ($2 - 5 million) and Noarlunga’s health facility was named as Best Commercial Refurbishment ($5 – 15 million).
Hames Sharley’s project architect Saralee Aufderheide attended the gala event and was delighted with the projects’ successes, “In designing the centre for Loxton we envisaged a flexible workspace that would provide a relaxed environment and encourage collaboration” Saralee said. “The project has gone on to surpass all expectations and that really is a testament to the partnership with the team at Michael Kregar”.
“Similarly, we are thrilled that our partner, Shape, was recognised for the refurbishment of the Renal facility at Noarlunga, as it provides such a vital service for the local community”.
Congratulations to all of the full teams involved in the Loxton and Noarlunga projects.
