The Master Builders’ Association of Western Australia held its annual Excellence in Construction Awards evening on Saturday evening and a number of Hames Sharley projects were recognised.

PACT Construction won the award for Australis at Rossmoyne for the Best seniors / aged persons multi-unit development in the $20 million-$50 million category.

The intricate finishes to the ceilings and walls of the $200 million Mandurah Forum shopping centre upgrade won the title of Subcontractor of the Year for Exclusive Commercial Linings. The project, which also won the subcontractor award for cladding, covered more than 14 acres of retail space with bespoke finishes made to a high standard and completed ahead of schedule.
