On Friday 20th September, Hames Sharley’s Western Australian Studio hosted the student awards presentation for the Black Box Studio and Long Pilah International Design Competitions, in association with Curtin University.
Hames Sharley are delighted to offer and provide continued support in celebrating the advancement of the next generation of graduates and share in the university’s commitment to education, design and the built environment – connecting best practice thinking across a number of disciplines and research.
WA Studio Leader, Brook McGowan said “Supporting events such as this is an essential part of our practice’s growth and sustainability. We are continually impressed by the high standards of work produced by the student’s graduating from Curtin University each year and we are constantly learning from their fresh perspectives”.
In hosting the presentation of these awards, Hames Sharley share Curtin’s appreciation of the outstanding interdisciplinary collegiality, growth, leadership and personal commitment of the many who participated. The design excellence displayed points to many hours of dedication in collaboration with international communities, industry partners and the government.
