Cathal O’Byrne has been appointed as Principal, Interior Design for leading design firm Hames Sharley. With over 26 years experience in interior design architecture, Cathal brings a wealth of international knowledge to Hames Sharley. Gaining invaluable experience working throughout the UK, the USA, Malaysia and Singapore, Cathal has worked across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, hospitality, residential, retail and industrial.

“I am very much looking forward to carrying out my role within Hames Sharley and making a major contribution in the development of the interior design division, not only in Perth but within the other Hames Sharley offices,” says Cathal.

Cathal will be responsible for heading up the interior design team in Perth, and is currently working on the Fiona Stanley Hospital, the refurbishment of facilities at the Forrest Centre, along with heading up the design team for works currently on-going at Burswood and proposed works at the University of Western Australia.
