Meet and congratulate our 2021 Hames Sharley Student Leads, Dimity Dennis and Elisa Alani. Dimity and Elisa were nominated and selected for their leadership and strong advocacy for student and industry collaborations. They will be working directly with Hames Sharley’s academic research arm as part of our commitment to span and connect research, education, and practice.

This year, our engagement programs will see Dimity and Elisa drive student-led interactions as part of HS’s support of students and graduates, which sees “students as partners”. Elisa and Dimity will be the point of contact between students and Hames Sharley. They will provide ongoing input from the students’ perspective, voice and advocate for student agency.

In launching the knowledge exchange, Hames Sharley is excited to host the inaugural HS FORE•CAST Re-Search Seminar – an opportunity to bring Masters of Architecture Students at Curtin University and portfolio leaders from across HS and the globe. To explore practice-led research with the aim of linking students and industry towards building a research network.

EOI submissions for the HS FORE•CAST Re-Search Seminar is open to all Master of Architecture Students currently enrolled at Curtin University.

As there are limit places, this EOI is a competitive process in which a panel will review and short-list ten students. The EOI submission will close on 15 March 2021, at 5 PM.

We look to broaden the offerings through other programs available to both undergraduates and postgraduates, including students from across the globe through programs that are online, face-to-face, and blended in the future. Follow-us, stay tuned and watch this space!
