ECCO Ripley, a new town centre and neighbourhood that Hames Sharley master planned for Sekisui House, has been awarded a Green Star – Communities rating. It is the fourth project in Australia to be awarded a Green Star – Communities rating.

The Green Star – Communities rating tool is an independent, national, voluntary rating tool to drive the development of more sustainable, productive and liveable Australian communities.

The Hames Sharley Urban Development Portfolio was responsible for preparing Sekisui House’s submission to the Green Building Council of Australia and after a rigorous submission process, we are thrilled to have been awarded a 5 Star rating which represents ‘Australian Excellence’ in environmentally sustainable planning, design and construction at a precinct scale.
