IPC Mutiara Damansara Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has received recognition for its design excellence at the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers REKA Awards.

Over the last two years the Hames Sharley designed centre has been expanded, upgraded and refurbished, providing visitors with a modern, green and family friendly shopping haven. The new design was undertaken in collaboration with DP Architects and has drastically changed the existing architecture as well as provided a significant refurbishment to the interiors of the entire mall.

Hames Sharley managed to design within the limited budget and extremely short time frames whilst maintaining the integrity of the design. Customers now experience an entirely new shopping environment, with increased amenity, increased public space, family focussed play areas, increased connectivity to neighbouring centres, memorable social spaces, fashionable eat street and enticing new fashion and lifestyle brands.
